Reflective
Practice
This
is one of the things we at Swan
have been having a look at.
We've all decided we need to spend more time focusing on the
mental side of the game,
and we're trying to see if this cycle helps!!
If a situation arises, does it interfere with the player's
performance,
and if it happens again, can we deal with the problem better,
having done some Reflective Practice.
Examples
of interference and annoyance:-
bad
umpiring decision (in your eyes)
criticism from a coach or player
remarks from the sideline
remarks from other team
weather conditions
making/receiving a bad pass
missing shots
not everybody trying!!
I'm
sure there are lots of other examples you can think of.
See if the above cycle helps in coping with these types of
interference
