During Sue Hawkin's
coaching workshop last year, she explained how she splits
the court, both longways and sideways.
Width wise she has 3
channels and the ball should only be passed to the next one,
ie from A to B; from B to C; from C to B; from B to A, BUT
not from A to C or C to A.
Each third is split
into 2 zones and the ball should either be thrown to the next
zone or to the one after the next one. Throwing the ball further
could lead to it being intercepted.
Try this and see if
it helps your players keep hold of the ball and also whether
the number of interceptions is reduced.
