A Poem for Margaret

"There's one more angel in heaven
There's one more star in the sky"
Margaret we'll never forget you
So sad for us to say goodbye.........
 
Netball was your passion you gave so much of your time
Coaching all ages and technically so fine
Producing skilful players year on year 
And your shooters were awesome - all clubs were in fear
 
You so loved to drive, the M3 was your track
A very quick experience, to Aldershot and back
Wind tunnel cheeks and arriving with a roar
Twenty minutes from Eastleigh, from door to door!!
 
As the years passed, yellow and black everywhere
The success story continued for all in your care
As chair of Southampton you led the committee ship
Giving more of your time so others could benefit.
 
So thank you Margaret for everything you've done
We'll all miss the banter and great sense of fun
Your guidance and support, appreciated by all
But whoa betide anyone who lost a netball!!!!
